Project 1

Ituango reservoir quality model

After a tender called by the Inter-American Development Bank, AQUATICA-IH CANTABRIA-GRUPO ELEMENTAL joint venture started work for Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) in the quality model of the Ituango Reservoir. Results were crucial for operational decisions regarding environmental management during the building and filling phases.

Project 2

Hydrodynamic modeling of A Lagoa dos Nenos

At the ISLAS ATLÁNTICAS NATIONAL PARK, AQUATICA INGENIERIA carried out the hydrodynamic and sediment modeling (using 1D and 2D models) of A Lagoa dos Nenos, aiming at undertaking actions that allow for quality improvement.

Impact of Sanxenxo port on surrounding beaches

AQUATICA INGENIERIA worked for the Sanxenxo City Council on the Study of Coastal Dynamics and impact of the Sanxenxo port on the surrounding beaches.

The outcome would lead to subsequent projects for the regeneration of Carabuxeira beach.

Study undermining Río Maipo-Puerto S. Antonio

AQUATICA carried out the Morphology Undermining and Modification Study within the work of Optimization Engineering and Detail Engineering of Shelter, Dredging and Additinal Works of the Deepwater Port in Port of San Antonio (Chile).

Structural recalculation of Torre Baliza Picamillo

In 2018, AQUATICA carried out for Marcor Xove the numerical modeling of wave-structure interaction and the structural recalculation of the Picamillo Baliza Tower, whose reconstruction was tendered by the Marín Port Authority.
